It’s the first day of February. Our garden looks completely different, covered in a blanket of snow, peaceful and serene. In just a few months it will be blooming with colors.

I am not a gardener. I just don’t have it in me.

My mom can revive any plant. She talks to her flowers every morning! Me? I admire beautiful flowers and manicured front lawns, but tending to a garden is not in my repertoire.

Marcus Tullius Cicero proclaimed: “If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need”. Well, I think I know a little bit about a library, but I definitely need to educate myself on how to nurture a garden.
