Enjoying Winter Sports

There are many ways to enjoy the winter weather. You can go downhill or cross-country skiing. Many states, such as New York, Maine and Vermont, have ski slopes; or you can combine a European vacation with skiing in countries such as Switzerland, France and Italy.

There is also ice skating in indoors rinks or outdoor frozen lakes. Or you can sit in the audience and watch winter sports such as figure skating and hockey.
