Harrison, New York.
October 15th, 1896:

At a meeting of the inhabitants of the Union Free School, Joint District No. 6, of the town of Rye and Harrison, held on the above date, the following resolutions were unanimously adopted:

Resolved, That the generous and public spirited offer of John F. Parsons, Esq., to build and present to this School District a handsome school building he accepted, and

Resolved, That the voters of this District express to Mr. Parsons their heartfelt appreciation and thanks for the interest he has shown, in the welfare of this neighborhood and for the valuable aid he is about to extend to the cause of education; and

Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be recorded in the minutes of this District and that a copy be also sent to Mr. Parsons.
