Meet the New Principal Louis M. Klein
Louis M. Klein came to Parsons in 1929 when he was hired as a teacher of English and Spanish. In 1934 he became principal of Harrison High School and Superintendent of Schools in 1936. In his 34 years of service as Superintendent "he oversaw increasing enrollment in the schools, huge expenditures on new buildings and students going off to three wars",said Donald Howard, School Superintendent in 2001. The Louis M. Klein Middle School is named in his honor.
