Online: Tibetan Sound Healing Workshop with Karin Reetz

Tuesday, January 11, 2022 4:00pm - 5:00pm ET Online

I'm sorry if you missed it, but this event already took place.

“If we accept that sound is vibration, and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being, then we understand that sound is “heard” not only through our ears but through every cell in our body.” (Excerpt from The Healing Power Of Sound by Mitchell L. Gaynor, MD)

Join us for this online program presented by Karin Reetz. Register here to receive the Zoom link via email. For this class you will be sitting and laying down. Dress warmly and have a blanket on hand. This program is being offered in partnership with the Town of Pelham Library and Tuckahoe Public Library.

Studies have shown that Tibetan Singing Bowls have the ability to:

-- induce a deep relaxation of muscles, joints, organs
-- reduce stress and stress related disorders, lower blood pressure and heart rate
-- improve sleep
-- balance the chakras (energy centers of the body)
-- detoxify the body
-- help with pain management, addictions, depression and anxiety

Karin mainly uses Himalayan Singing Bowls, but also crystal bowls and tuning forks which she learned to use from John Beaulieu. She has been studying healing arts her whole life and is an avid MEDITATOR and student of YOGA, which led her to becoming an USUI REIKI MASTER with Libby Barnett in 2002, then a KARUNA REIKI MASTER with William Rand in 2006, and an USUI HOLY FIRE II REIKI MASTER with William Rand in 2016. Karin has also studied 4 Levels of HEALING TOUCH and offers it as a volunteer at Greenwich Hospital in CT. She then became certified in JIN SHIN JYUTSU, an ancient Japanese art of harmonizing the life energy in the body. Karin discovered Sound Healing in 2011 and is now a PROFESSIONAL SOUND HEALER with the International Academy of Sound Healing IASH from India under the guidance of Master Satya Brat.
