Join our Maker-In-Residence Leena Karande-Gore for henna workshops this summer!

Henna art is a centuries-old form of body adornment that is created with a natural plant-based stain on the skin. Henna artist Leena Karande-Gore will present hands-on workshops where participants will create their own henna designs. Ms. Karande-Gore will explain the history, design, and application of this ancient art. 

Space is limited. Registration is required. For ages 13 and up.

Workshop #2 Henna on Glass Votives - July 22

Learn how to make henna designs on glass votives

Workshop #3 Acrylic Henna on Candles & Votives - July 29

Learn how to make henna art on candles and holiday cards

Workshop #4 Acrylic Henna on Holiday Cards - August 5

Learn how to make henna art on candles and holiday cards

Edible Henna Sugar Cookies and Cupcakes - August 12

Learn how to decorate sugar cookies and cupcakes with buttercream henna design

Workshop #5 Acrylic Henna on Canvas Pouches/Bags - August 19

Learn how to make henna designs on travel/pencil pouches

Workshops #6 & #7 Henna on Canvas - September 16  & 23 at 4:30 pm

Learn how to use acrylic paints to create henna art on a canvas.
