Have you ever wanted to try acrylic painting? Join our Maker-In-Residence, Connie Manna, to learn the fundamentals and principles of painting.

Participants will recreate Claude Monet’s Poppy Field which will help them to understand how to achieve the illusion of depth in a painting as well as how to mix colors.

This program is for all people ages 8 and up. Space is limited. Please sign up so that we can send you the zoom meeting link and other information in case we host the workshop online.

We have limited material supplies for the first 20 signups. Anyone who registers on or after 7/22 and wants to paint along will need to provide their own materials for this workshop.

This is the third workshop lead by Connie Manna during her summer residency at the library. Ms. Manna is an illustrator and teaching artist with BFA from the School of Visual Arts. She has held a solo exhibition and taught very popular painting workshops in the library and other organizations. For more information, please check out her profile on our Maker-In-Residency website.

Ms. Manna will lead five workshops. Please click on the workshop titles below to sign up.
