Remember when you were a kid and dreamed that you could be whatever you wanted to be when you grew up? Maybe you dreamed of becoming a ballerina, or an astronaut, a famous artist or President of the United States? Do you see those same dreams in your children? Let’s encourage children to follow those dreams or possibly to discover new passions. Let’s spark their imaginations through reading.
There are picture books for children that inspire wonder, creativity and innovation. They encourage children to achieve wondrous things. They are stories of success and big dreams and strength. Many of us are familiar with The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper (“I think I can, I think I can”) and Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne, (“You are braver that you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think”) and I highly recommend reading those books to children. I also recommend the following recently published books to help inspire children.
