Eugene J. Feeley
Description
Eugene Feely was the first male teacher in the Harrison School district, joining the staff in 1927. He was a physical education instructor, coached all sports and taught all grades from K-12. In his 37 years of service he also served as principal of several schools in the district. The athletic field behind Harrison Avenue School was dedicated in his honor in 1964. The Feely Scholarship fund was renamed in his honor as its founder in 1966.
