Take the plunge into memoir writing with Mindy Lewis!
Dip your toes, observe the ripples on the surface, paddle in the shallows and dive into the depths. Writing prompts will get you going, and work will be shared aloud in a supportive atmosphere. Together we explore the writer’s toolbox, tackle obstacles to creativity, and inspire one another. Whether a novice or experienced writer, you will enjoy the company of fellow swimmers, and emerge renewed.

About Mindy Lewis
Mindy Lewis is the author of Life Inside: A Memoir. She is the editor of DIRT: The Quirks, Habits and Passions of Keeping House .
Mindy is the recipient of New Letters 2015 Dorothy Cappon Award for Best Essay. She teaches writing workshops at the Writer’s Voice of the West Side Y in Manhattan. She taught at Hudson Valley Writers' Center, Brooklyn College, Poets & Writers outreach program in Kew Gardens.
